Vegas Trip

VIVA LAS VEGAS
The Night View
While in Vegas we did as the "SINNERS" would have us do...just about everything we could pack into a 6 day trip. Complete blast I might add. We awakened at 4 on tuesday morning to start our adventure. After a mishap breakfast, long bathroom line stop and a nine hour dive we finally arrived at South Point. Our destination.
Got the horses and ourselves settled in for a wonderful week. We got to walk the strip, watch some great roping, the NFR and even the kids got in on the fun. Fun week.

The Strip
Oh yes... Our goal this year was to make it up on the Stratosphere but it never seemed to work out so next years goal is to GET UP THERE!
Oh Look-Lady Liberty!

THE NFR
The Infamous Thomas & Mack Center or the NFR or for any non-cowboys the superbowl of rodeo. :)

Inside the NFR. WAY Better than any SUNS game. Just look at the seats they are PACKED.
My partners in crime-Jaci, Bryce, Katie and Braden. Enjoying the great atmosphere.
Saluting the sponsors
What happens when you leave the kids at the hotel and have grandma watch while everyone goes to the NFR.
The Mini Rodeo
After we went to the NFR mom and dad went the next night. Just the two of them. Boy aren't they all dolled up! Woot- woot.
Mandalay Bay puts on a mini rodeo for the kiddos and so one day we thought that our little chillins should compete and they were up for the challenge. They had two main events, Sheep riding and Barrel racing. Above are our Bull Riders-Josh, Alyssa, and Britt. Alyssa was Cowgirl up and show those boys how to do it. Even though before hand she told Britt to go first so she could see how to do it;)
These three guys were the mentors for the kids!
I asked for a tough face and this is what i got.
The four contestants. Scoping out the arena and the competition.
Girls are tough too! Sister Power!!!
WOAH! Sister power again. Ah haha. Making a statement everywhere we go:)
See what I mean!
Brianna the barrel racer. Just like her grandma. Great person to learn from. The passing of generation to generation of barrel racing.
The Three Sheep Riders. HARD CORE
The Proud Grandparents
Oh look its me. WEEE... This is one of the few pictures actually at the South Point roping where Dad and Braden roped. We didn't want to jinks the guys so there wasn't any pictures taken. We didn't do the best at the roping. Well we did good but not perfect. So no great stories there. The guys did do awesome and we are so proud of them making it that far. Cannot wait til next year. Hope you enjoyed our little vegas trip as much as we did!
